When I first started this line, most of my designs were inspired by visuals. I was (and still am) obsessed with the 80s and 90s, so I would search the internet and spend hours watching shows like A Different World, and Living Single for prints and patterns that caught my eye. I would then take elements from those patterns to create nail and jewelry designs. Five years later I have evolved as both a designer and as a person. While my design style is still very retro, my inspiration comes from my experiences and the feelings that are associated with them.
It all started with Black Roses, a collection inspired by heartbreak. I put together a group of songs that I felt accurately illustrated my feelings, and thus the collection was born.
I use playlists to bring my pieces to life, and now I have decided to share those playlists with you!
